Every physical manifestation we put forward is a costume. Not a single one is our naked souls. Such are the rules of the cosmic drama that is the human experience.
You are the audience, the actor, the characters, as well as the entire stage.
Which costumes are unnecessary?
Which are necessary for now, and how can you make it more enjoyable?
It can be sexy, cathartic, and therapeutic to take on a persona for a bit of time. Become someone you always wanted to be.
Remember that you’re playing.
Be mindful not to lose yourself in the fictional reality you’ve created.
Though losing yourself can also be fun sometimes.
You are playing for you, not for the approval of others.

This is your show. Remember, you have the power to:
Withdraw from the role.
Redefine the terms of your contract.
If you must continue the role, figure out how to make it fun.
Just remember, it’s all theatre.
