About the Artist

My name is Cynthia Undyantara. I’m an artist and creative-wellness educator devoted to reconnecting people with their inner power through creative expression, community connection, and embodied practices.

Before dedicating myself fully to this work, I built a career in the animation industry, contributing as both an artist and production leader to internationally recognized children’s productions for Netflix, PBS, and Nickelodeon, including Blue’s Clues & You!, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, The Magic School Bus Rides Again, and Clifford the Big Red Dog. My experience managing large creative teams and complex productions gave me a strong foundation in creative direction, project development, and bringing ambitious ideas from vision to execution. Yet, I found the voice I wanted to share and the impact I wanted to create could not be done from inside the corporate system.

Driven by a desire to pursue more meaningful work, I left the animation industry in 2023 and co-founded a multidisciplinary community art space in Toronto with the ethos of providing emerging artists with the platform to showcase their work, as well a creating a safe space for expression and connection. As the lead business developer and head of programming and exhibitions, I cultivated partnerships with artists, organizations, and community groups while producing exhibitions, performances, workshops, and cultural events.

I later co-founded Electric Sunshine Co., a wellness company that brings together art, embodiment, and human connection through somatic practices and creative experiences, servicing a wide range of clientele through private corporate experiences to community wellness workshops.

I see art as a form of alchemy and the human body as the instrument. Through the mediums of creative exploration and somatic practices, my mission is to help people connect back to themselves, guiding them to live a life of freedom, ease, and authentic expression.

My Approach

People sitting at a table in a room with purple lighting, two men in front are painting with light on a canvas, others are standing or sitting in the background.

My approach is rooted in connection, embodiment, and creative expression. Through intentional experiences, I guide people back into connection with themselves, with one another and with the world around them. By bringing awareness out of the thinking mind and into the body, creativity becomes a pathway for processing, expressing and transforming what lives within us.
