Sacred Space: A Mindful Pottery Workshop

Create your own “hand built” incense holders with intention, ritual, and clay.

This workshop invites you to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore creativity as a mindful practice. Through guided meditation and intuitive handbuilding, you will create a handmade incense holder that reflects your personal relationship with ritual, grounding, and inner sanctuary.

Rather than focusing on perfection or technical outcomes, the experience centres on presence, intention, and the quiet pleasure of creating something by hand.

All materials and a stick of incense is included!

Core Themes

  • The Inner Sanctuary: Exploring what it means to feel grounded, safe, connected, and at home within ourselves.

  • Ritual & Intention: Reflecting on the small, everyday practices that help us reconnect with ourselves and create meaningful moments of pause.

  • Sacred Space: Considering how we shape our environments to support rest, reflection, creativity, and connection.

  • Creativity as Meditation: Using the tactile process of working with clay to slow down, engage the senses, and release the need for perfection.

  • Offering & Devotion: Exploring what we might dedicate our creation to, whether it is a feeling, a person, a season of life, a hope, or simply the practice of showing up for ourselves.

About the Facilitators

Cynthia Undyantara

Cynthia is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist, muralist, and creative-wellness educator whose work tells the story of personal and collective power that comes from remembering our divine and inherently creative nature.

Working across murals, acrylic painting, ink, calligraphy, illustration, and UV-reactive media, her Expressive Surrealism style combines vivid colour, human form, nature elements, and energetic brushstokes. Her practice is informed by her long-standing relationship with embodiment studies, spiritual traditions, and her professional background in animation, creative direction, and visual storytelling. Cynthia has presented work through solo and group exhibitions, commercial mural, and immersive interactive projects.

Cynthia sees art as a form of alchemy and the human body as the instrument. Through her own creative exploration, somatic practices, as well as the community workshops she leads, her mission is to help people connect back to themselves, their somatic freedom, and inner power through living a connected life of authentic expression.
